Summary

Hut circle with a level interior, 6.0 metres in diameter internally with walling of stone and earth, 2.0 metres wide and 0.3 metres high, and a 2.0 metre gap in the south-west which may represent the entrance. There are no orthostats and the whole is heather covered.

(03/12/1977) Five widely spaced hut circles, centred at SX 681716, occur on the crest and north slopes of a spur between 310 and 330m OD. Each seems to be associated with a single rectilinear field of from 0.5 to 1.0 ha within the local reave system.
SX 68097162. A type 1 hut with a level interior on a slight north slope. It is 6.0 metres internal diameter with 'walling' of stone and earth, 2.0 metres wide and 0.3 metres high, and a 2.0 metre gap in the south-west which may represent the entrance. There are no orthostats and the whole is heather covered. A distinct lynchet extends from the south of the hut but only so far as the late cross bank previously mentioned.
