Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 4.5 metres wide, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 2004 and 2013. They resemble post-medieval tree planting banks, although they do not run cross-contour and it is possible that they are more recent features created by modern agricultural practices. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic maps, although the plot of land immediately to the east of Broomhill is depicted as orchard and it is possible that orchards covered a larger area close to the farmstead before the mid-19th century.
