A curvilinear bank circa 3 metres in width, is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019. The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on 19th century historic maps, however it is parallel to depicted field boundaries. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The earthwork bank is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin, that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
