Three sections of curvilinear bank and a short section of ditch, all circa 3 metres in width and orientated north-south, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019. The earthworks are situated on a steep south facing slope above a river valley to the north of Strawberry Water.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century maps. They are situated on the edge of an agricultural plot, which by the Ordnance Survey 25 inch Second Edition map is depicted as rough or unimproved ground. One of the bank earthworks is visible in aerial photographs taken in 2005.
The banks and ditch are of unknown origin or purpose, but may be tentatively interpreted as post-medieval field boundaries that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
