A curvilinear ditch situated south-west of West Peeke on a north facing slope and orientated approximately east to west and between 7 and 14 metres in width is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. A section of ditch projects north from it and adjoins a watercourse.
The east-west orientated ditch does not correspond to any features depicted in the available 19th century historic maps, however it adjoins field boundaries depicted in the Tithe Map. An area of rough ground is depicted to the north of the ditch and immediately adjacent to its north projection. The east part of the ditch and its north projection are visible as a cropmark on aerial imagery, most notably imagery taken in 2006.
The ditch is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval origin that passed out of use prior to circa 1840. The north projecting section of ditch is interpreted as a drainage ditch that partially follows the path of the field boundary and flows into the stream below, and that may have formed naturally following the removal of the field boundary.
