A curvilinear bank orientated approximately north-west to south-east, circa 195 metres long and between circa 6 and 9 metres in width is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013.
The bank is situated on a south facing slope in a field above the River Tamar. It does not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century maps, however it is parallel to adjacent field boundaries and part of an adjacent road. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The bank is interpreted as a medieval field boundary that passed out of use by the late-19th century, that may have formed part of a strip field system.
