Several curvilinear banks at West Panson are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. They are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin that formed small enclosures in the village, and that passed out of use by the late-19th century.

Curvilinear banks orientated both north-south and east-west are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013.
The banks are situated in a former orchard plot depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch First Edition map to the east of the road in the centre of the village of West Panson.
The banks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century or modern maps. They are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin that once divided the field into several smaller enclosures, and that passed out of use by the late-19th century.
