Full description

The bank does not correspond with any depicted features, however it aligns with a section of field boundary enclosing a small copse to the north.

A short curvilinear bank between circa 3 and 10 metres in width and 95 metres in length is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The bank is orientated north-east to south-west in a field on a north-west facing slope to the north-west of Pinslow Farm.
The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century maps. It aligns with a section of field boundary to the north depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch First Edition map, which enclosed a small copse leading into a stream tributary of the River Tamar.
The bank is interpreted as a medieval to post-medieval field boundary that passed out of use by the late-19th century.
