Several curvilinear ditches orientated both north-east to south-west and north-west to south-east, and between 2 and 9 metres in width are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013 north of Pinslow Farm.
The ditches do not correspond to any features depicted on 19th century maps, however one of the ditches aligns to a depicted dog leg shaped field boundary to the south. This section of ditch also flanks a bank extending from a recorded enclosure (MDV129998). The historic landscape is characterised as barton fields.
The ditches are interpreted as medieval to post-medieval field boundaries that passed out of use by the late-19th century.
