Summary

Two parallel curvilinear ditches, one between 9 and 15 metres in width and circa 295 metres in length, and one between 6 and 9 metres in width and circa 160 metres in length, are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The ditches are orientated approximately north-south and are circa 10 metres apart. They are situated across two fields on a south-west facing slope above the River Tamar, west of Pinslow Farm.
The ditches do not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century maps. The longest ditch earthwork aligns approximately with a section of recorded former field boundary to the south-east.
The ditches are tentatively interpreted as a trackway of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use by the late-19th century.
