An irregular shaped depression is visible as an earthwork

An irregular shaped depression approximately 40 metres in length and between 8 and 20 metres in width, is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2019. It is situated in a field north of Pinslow Farm.
The depression does not correspond with any features depicted on the available 19th century or modern maps. A large extractive pit recorded closely to the north-west may have been worked into the 20th century (MDV129921).
The depression is interpreted as an extractive pit of post-medieval to early 20th century origin. It has not been transcribed.
