A curvilinear bank circa 8 metres in width and 140 metres in length, is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The bank is orientated north-west to south-east in a field to the west of Luffincott.
The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps; however they are parallel to depicted adjacent curvilinear field boundaries which passed out of use in the mid to late-20th century. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The bank is interpreted as a medieval field boundary that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1880.
