Four curvilinear banks between 7 and 9 metres in width are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. They are situated in a field to the west of Luffincott on a south facing slope.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps; however they are parallel to a depicted curvilinear field boundary to the west. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The banks are interpreted as field boundaries that formed a medieval strip field system and that passed out of use prior to circa 1880.
