A double concentric ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs of the 1950s onwards, as a cropmark on the south-facing slopes overlooking the Culm Valley, north of Heazille Farmhouse. The ring ditch cropmarks are on average around 2 metres broad. The inner ring ditch encloses an area circa 10 metres in diameter, the outer circa 20 metres in diameter. No breaks or gaps in the ring ditches suggestive of entrances were visible. The ring ditch is probably the remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date.
