Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The bank does not correspond to any depicted features, however it aligns with depicted field boundaries to the north and south.

A curvilinear bank circa 27 metres in length and between circa 5 and 9 metres in width is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The bank is orientated approximately north-west to south-east on a gentle west sloping field immediately west of Kennicott.
The earthwork bank does not correspond to any features depicted on the available historic maps, however it aligns to field boundaries both to the north and south. The historic landscape is characterised as post-medieval enclosures.
The bank is interpreted as a former field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
