Two parallel curvilinear banks, one circa 150 metres and one circa 185 metres in length, and both between 5 and 10 metres in width, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The banks are situated in a north-west facing field north of Gunnacott.
The banks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps, however they are in parallel with an adjacent depicted field boundary. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of probable medieval origin, that may have formed part of a medieval strip field system and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
