Summary

A curvilinear ditch is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013 east of Corfcott Green. It is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.

The ditch partially corresponds to a depicted field boundary. It also aligns with a depicted field boundary to the south with stream or drain flowing alongside.

A curvilinear ditch circa 105 metres in length and between circa 5 and 10 metres in width is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2004 and 2013. The bank is orientated approximately north to south on a gentle south-west sloping field east of Corfcott Green.
The northern part of the ditch corresponds to a field boundary depicted on the available historic and modern maps. The southern part of the ditch aligns approximately with a field boundary immediately below it, with a drain or stream running alongside it.
The ditch earthwork is interpreted as a former field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that may have also accommodated drainage and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
