A curvilinear bank and ditch both circa 85 metres in length and between 3 and 6 metres in width are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013. The bank is orientated northeast to southwest and north-south in a south-west facing plot west of Coppicetown Farm.
The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps, however it does align with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map to the south. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures. A natural stream or flush is depicted crossing the plot on the same trajectory to the east and follows the boundary to the south.
The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use by circa 1840. Alternatively, it could relate to drainage.
