Four short parallel curvilinear banks between circa 7 and 20 metres in width and between 45 and 75 metres in length are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013. The banks are situated in a west facing field south-west of Buckland Monachorum. Three of the banks are situated approximately 15 metres apart.
The earthwork banks do not correspond to any features depicted on the Tithe Map, however they are parallel with adjacent depicted field boundaries. The historic landscape is characterised as post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements.
The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval origin that may have formed part of a strip field system and passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
