A curvilinear bank circa 13 metre in width and 85 metres in length is visible as a subtle earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013. It is situated in a south-west facing field north of Uppaton Farm.
The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic or modern maps. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures.
A subtle earthwork ditch flanks the bank on its south-east side. The ditch aligns with a dog-leg in the field boundary to the north-east. It also corresponds with the field entrance to the south however and may therefore be modern in origin. The ditch has not been transcribed.
The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
