A curvilinear ditch 9 metres in width and 355 metres in length is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013. The ditch is orientated north-west to south-east across several north-west facing plots east of Buckland Abbey.
The ditch does not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps and cross a number of medieval to post-medieval field boundaries and roads. The historic landscape is characterised as post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements.
The ditch is tentatively interpreted as a trackway or field boundary of medieval or earlier origin that passed out of use prior to the medieval to post-medieval layout reflected on the available historic maps. The ditch could be connected to MDV130265 and MDV130299
