Hegarty, C., Houghton, E., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2020-2021, Tamar/Lidar; A Single Source Approach to Landscape Survey and Socially Distanced Community Archaeology Area 1 (AI&M project) (Interpretation). SDV363945.

A curvilinear bank between circa 6 and 9 metres in width and 215 metres in length is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019. The bank is orientated north-west to south-east in a north-west facing field north-east of Bickham.
The bank does not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. It crosses two plots depicted on the Tithe Map. The historic landscape is characterised as post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements.
The bank appears to extend from the gateway of the field and may partially be created from modern usage, however the bank extends a significant length into the plot, inconsistent with a purely modern agricultural origin.
The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.

Simkins, D., 2023, Gunnislake to Roborough Tamar Raw Water Trunk Main. Statutory notice W7725 dated 3rd May 1989 (Correspondence). SDV365627.

Reported as a possible modern pipeline trench, on the projected line to Roborough.
