Numerous parallel curvilinear earthwork banks and a ditch are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2005 and 2013. They are spaced at approximately 20 metres apart, and up to approximately 5 metres wide. One correlates to a curvilinear boundary depicted on the Tithe map, and they are interpreted as the remains of medieval field boundaries, based on a strip field system, that went out of us by the mid-19th century.
