A series of approximately north-south orientated curvilinear banks circa 8 metres in width are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. Additionally, two closely positioned narrow parallel ditches orientated east-west are visible. The earthworks are situated across several south facing fields east of Foghanger.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps, however the banks are parallel with some surrounding depicted field boundaries. The ditches align with a field boundary to the immediate west.
The earthwork banks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval origin that formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840. The earthwork ditches are interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
