Curvilinear ditches between 40 and 130 metres in length and between 2 and 4 metres in width are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The ditches are situated in an east-facing field north of Foghanger and orientated both approximately north-east to south-west and north-west to south-east.
The ditches do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. They are situated within a single field, dividing it into four separate compartments. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The ditches are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
