A curvilinear bank circa 165 metres in total length and bisected by a perpendicular curvilinear ditch circa 110 metres in length, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthworks are situated across two south-east facing fields south of Foghanger.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. The bank aligns with a field boundary depicted to the immediate north and is parallel to surrounding field boundaries. The ditch is also parallel to adjacent depicted field boundaries. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The earthwork bank is interpreted as a medieval field boundary that may have formed part of a strip field system and that probably passed out of use in the post-medieval period. The earthwork ditch is interpreted as a post-medieval field boundary that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
