A series of curvilinear banks between 90 and 200 metres in length are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The banks are orientated approximately north-east to south-west and situated across several south-west facing fields south-east of Foghanger.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. Some of the banks are parallel with adjacent depicted field boundaries, others extend across multiple fields. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The banks are interpreted as medieval field boundaries that formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
