Summary

Two closely parallel curvilinear ditches, one circa 180 metres in length and one circa 100 metres in length, and both circa 4 metres in width, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The ditches are orientated approximately north-east to south-west spanning a west facing field south of Willestrew.
The ditches do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures.
The earthworks are faintly visible on aerial photographs dating from 2001.
The ditches are interpreted as a medieval to post-medieval field boundary that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
