Summary
Several curvilinear banks are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013 west of Hurlditch Court. The earthworks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval origin that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.

Several curvilinear banks orientated approximately north-south are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013. The banks are situated across east facing fields west of Hurlditch Court.
The banks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. The historic landscape is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The earthworks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval origin that may have formed part of a strip field system, and that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
