Two short closely parallel linear banks circa 4 metres in width and circa 25 metres in length are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The banks are situated in a south-east facing field immediately south-east of Eastcott Barton.
The banks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. They are situated in the eastern part of a plot recorded as an orchard in the Tithe Apportionment. The plot has seen much development in its western part and no other banks are evident.
The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval or early 19th century origin.
