Several curvilinear ditches, two in parallel and one branching to form an L-shape, and all circa 5 metres in width, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The ditches are situated in a south-east facing field north-west of Foghanger.
The ditches do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘medieval enclosures based on strip fields’.
The ditches are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
