Two narrow curvilinear ditches circa 3 metres in width and merging together in its western part are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The earthwork is circa 90 metres in length and situated in a south-east facing field west of Poflet Pastures.
The earthwork does not correspond to any features depicted on the available historic maps, however it does align with a field boundary depicted to the south-west. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘medieval enclosures based on strip fields’.
The ditches are interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
