Earthworks of sub-oval and irregularly shaped banks and a pit are visible.

An irregularly shaped pit, circa 30 metres long, and two oval and irregularly shaped mounds, circa 6 metres and 13 metres long, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2005.
The visible earthworks do not correspond with any pit or banked features depicted in this location on the late-19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map, or on later available historic maps.
They are therefore interpreted as a post-medieval or early to mid-19th century extractive pit with associated spoil heaps that had probably passed out of use by the mid to late-19th century.
