A curvilinear ditch circa 5 metres in width and 165 metres in length is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013. The ditch is orientated north-east to south-west in a south-west facing field north of Endsleigh Gardens.
The ditch does not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps, however it does appear to approximately align with a field boundary depicted to the north-east. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements’. The ditch is visible on aerial photographs dating from the 1940s and from the late-20th to early 21st century.
The ditch is interpreted as a field boundary of post-medieval origin that passed out of origin prior to circa 1840.
