Curvilinear banks forming two T-shapes and between circa 10 and 18 metres in width are visible as subtle earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2005. The banks are situated in a west facing field south of Endsleigh Gardens.
The banks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps, however one of the banks approximately aligns with a field boundary depicted to the south. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements’.
The banks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
