Curvilinear banks and ditches orientated both north-south and east-west are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2005 and 2013. They are situated across two north-west facing fields west of Hardicott Wood.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. The historic landscape is characterised as ‘post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements’.
Some of the ditches are visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs dating from 2001.
The earthworks are interpreted as field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval origin, that passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
