The earthworks correspond with two field boundaries.

Curvilinear and linear earthworks of banks either side of a ditch, circa 8 metres wide and orientated north-west to south-east, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2010 and 2013.
The earthworks correspond with two field boundaries shown on the late-19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map. The remaining earthworks do not correspond with any such features on this map, or on later available historic maps, but are closely in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern, which is characterised as both medieval and post-medieval enclosures.
The earthworks define a possible ditch and double-banked trackway with associated banked field boundaries of potential medieval origin, that had partly fallen out of use by the late-19th century.
