Two curvilinear earthwork ditches, less than 2 metres wide, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2005 and 2013, on the valley slopes south of Youngcott. They broadly follow the contour, dropping less than 5 metres over a visible length of approximately 260 metres, and are tentatively interpreted as the gutters of a post-medieval or 19th century catchmeadow, though the source of the water is not clear from the available imagery and mapping. No features are depicted on the exact location of the earthworks on the late-19th century OS maps, and any catchmeadow here is likely to have gone out of use by this date.
