Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
One of the depressions corresponds with a depicted field boundary.

Three small oval and circular shaped depressions between 7 and 11 metres across are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2005 and 2013. The depressions are situated in a south facing field south-east of Dunterton
One of the depressions corresponds approximately with the line of a former field boundary depicted on historic maps, that passed out use by the mid 20th century. The earthworks may be faintly visible on aerial photographs dating to the 1940s.
The depressions are interpreted as extractive pits of post-medieval to early 20th century origin.
