Two depressions, one oval circa 16 metres across and one of irregular shape circa 13 metres across, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2005 and 2013. The depressions are situated on south-east facing land in Lucy Cleave Wood and in the south part of the plot immediately north of it.
The depressions do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps.
The depressions are interpreted as extractive pits of post-medieval origin.
