The bridge is shown carrying a private road over a parish road to the north of Tawstock.

Bridge depicted. It carried a carriage drive across the road running north from Tawstock to Shorleigh Bridge. The drive ran across the northern part of Tawstock Court Park, extending from another driveway, through woodland and across the North Lawn before curving southward towards Tawstock Court.
