Several curvilinear ditches between 2 and 12 metres in width and a curvilinear bank circa 3 metres in width are visible as earthworks on visualisations on lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013. The earthworks are orientated north-east to south-west in a north-west and south-west facing fields south-west of Buckland Abbey.
The earthworks do not correspond with any features depicted on the available historic maps. Some of the ditches are visible on aerial photographs dating from the 1940s and from the late 20th to early 21st century.
The earthworks are interpreted as possible drainage ditches or trackways of medieval to post-medieval origin.
