Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The eastern-most earthwork is a probable extension to a field boundary in this location.

Earthworks of curvilinear banks, circa 6 metres wide and orientated north-east to south-west, are visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019.
The eastern-most earthwork at SX43956427 probably forms an extension to a field boundary at its north-east extent shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. The remaining earthworks do not correspond with any such features on this map or on later available historic maps but are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern.
The earthworks are interpreted as field boundaries of a possible medieval field system, the field boundaries having largely passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
