(28/09/2007) Shafts adits and other surface evidence of copper extraction at Virtuous Lady Mine. SX 4736 6976. An open adit which drives slightly east of north, near the summit of the ridge. A rock-cut corridor with straight vertical sides runs south from the portal and is transacted by the Lady Bertha Leat, below which is a spoil heap of material carted from the adit.
