Full description

Burleigh, D., 2003, A Report on the Historic Chest Tombs in the Churchyard of St. Giles Church, Sidbury, Devon, No. 4 (Report - non-specific). SDV348681.

Low chest tomb of Beer stone adjacent to No. 5. Dedicated to James Perry?; the inscription is hardly legible. Rusting iron cramps have led to the stone from the corner pillars fracturing. The stone on the north face is delaminating and it has ivy growing over it.
