The earthworks do not correspond with any linear features in this location.

Two linear banks, both circa 9 metres wide and orientated north-east to south-west, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019.
The earthworks have been much denuded by ploughing. They do not correspond with any features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps, but are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern which is characterised as Barton fields.
The earthworks are therefore interpreted as possible relict field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date that had been removed by the mid-19th century.
