Curvilinear banks, circa 9 metres wide and broadly orientated north-east to south-west and north-west to south-east, are visible as earthworks on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019.
One of the earthworks at SX46546495 define a rectilinear land parcel that measures circa 25 metres long by 17 metres wide. This earthwork largely corresponds with a field boundary shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. The remaining earthworks do not correspond with any such features on this map, or on later available historic maps, but are in keeping with the surrounding historic field pattern which is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields.
The earthworks are therefore interpreted as relict field boundaries of medieval origin that had been largely removed by the mid-19th century.
