Summary

Possible disturbed cairn sited on a gentle north slope of the Newleycombe valley within formerly enclosed land to the east of Newleycombe Farm. The feature comprises a much disturbed turf covered stony spread which is approximately circular and is up to 13m diameter and up to 1.2m high on the downslope side. The centre of the feature has a hollowed appearance probably representing disturbance and quarrying of stone.

(01/08/2006) Possible disturbed cairn sited on a gentle north slope of the Newleycombe valley within formerly enclosed land to the east of Newleycombe Farm. The feature comprises a much disturbed turf covered stony spread which is approximately circular and is up to 13m diameter and up to 1.2m high on the downslope side. The centre of the feature has a hollowed appearance probably representing disturbance and quarrying of stone.
