Name: | Two parallel stony banks on the western flank of Giant's Hill. |
---|
Summary
These features measure 0.9m wide and remain 0.3m high and are separated by a distance of 40m. They are aligned with the contours on this moderate slope though are not associated with any other remains. The origin and function of these features is unclear though they may represent an unfinished expansion of the field system associated with Hentor Cot (SX 56 SE 132) which lies 300m to the north-west or they may constitute more recent military structures, perhaps firing points or target butts.
