The plot is recorded as an orchard.

A large earthwork depression extending either side of the road is visible on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The earthwork corresponds approximately with a triangular shaped orchard plot recorded on historic maps that passed out of use in the mid to late-20th century. The earthwork is interpreted as a post-medieval extractive pit that passed out of use by circa 1840, and was subsequently planted as an orchard.
